What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants provide long-term or permanent anchoring of crowns, dental bridges or dentures while offering the added benefit of helping to halt bone loss in the jaw. They are as comfortable as real teeth and look completely natural.


Dental Implants Benefits
There are numerous benefits to dental implants in comparison to other tooth restoration options, including:

• Permanence – Once dental implants are in place and have healed, a crown, bridge or dentures can be permanently secured to the titanium implant.

Dental Bridge Procedure
A dental bridge can be completed in two office visits. During the first visit the teeth adjacent to the gap are prepared to fit the dental bridge and an impression is taken. A temporary bridge is placed in the mouth while your permanent bridge is being fabricated. During the second visit, the permanent dental bridge is fitted comfortably and then cemented into your mouth for a permanent restoration.
