Dr. Dominic Wenzell
Angela Thompson - Practice Manager
Angela was born in Lubbock, Texas, but has lived in Alaska for over 30 years. Angela attended the University of Alaska Anchorage before entering the dental field in 1998. Angela joined the Turnagain Dental team in December of 2010.
Angela loves the team at Turnagain Dental and their dedication to their patients. She takes great pride in providing our community the best treatment by staying up to date and learning new techniques as the dental field advances.
In her spare time, Angela loves to go camping with her family, fishing, gardening, cooking, or just chilling with a good book.
Lexi Holman- Scheduling Coordinator
Lexi has had the pleasure of being part of the Turnagain Dental team since 2012. She grew up in Northern California and moved to Anchorage with her husband Nick, their yellow lab Moose and their 2 cats, Kitty and Buster.
Lexi couldn’t imagine working for a better dental practice, and she is grateful for the opportunity to work with such caring people and an amazing dentist.
In her spare time Lexi enjoys traveling, camping, fishing and snowboarding. She looks forward to meeting each and every one of you and scheduling you for all your dental needs.
Carrie Sullivan - Certified Dental Assistant
Carrie grew up in Las Vegas but considers Fairbanks and Eagle River to be her homes. She joined our dental team two years ago, after supporting our troops at Eielson Air Force Base for eight years. During her service at Eielson, she was awarded the 354th Medical Group Civilian of the Year award in 2008 and the PACAF Dental Civilian of the Year award in 2011.
Carrie loves being able to put patients at ease and make them more comfortable about visiting the dentist, as well as working with them on dental hygiene education. She loves taking the time to answer questions and share her knowledge with our wonderful patients.
When she's not at work, Carrie loves exploring the outdoors, especially camping and fishing with family and friends.
Keely Ginley - Dental Assistant
Keely's hometown is Fairbanks, Alaska. She recently received her bachelor's degree in biological science with a minor in business from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Keely is the newest member of our dental practice, and she loves being able to help patients, working with them to take better care of their teeth.
During her spare time, Keely enjoys fishing, hunting, and backcountry snowboarding.
Brad Aho - Dental Hygienist
Brad was born in Michigan, and moved to Wasilla in 1989. He attended the University of Alaska to become certified as a registered dental hygienist, and he has been with our practice for eight years.
For Brad, the best part about his job is working with Dr. Wenzell, a dentist who takes pride in his work and is concerned with his patients' needs, and he enjoys helping Dr. Wenzell meet those patient needs by educating patients about oral hygiene.
Brad has been blessed with a loving family, and when he's not at work, he enjoys camping, traveling, and fishing with his wife and two wonderful children.
Aaryn Bagdon - Dental Hygienist
Aaryn was raised in the blistering heat of Arizona and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010. She moved to Alaska in 2010 and has been loving it ever since! Aaryn has been working with Dr. Wenzell’s team since 2011 and she says couldn’t have picked a greater place to jump start her career. Aaryn has had the opportunity to work with a great staff and has had a great time getting to know her patients. As one of her laws of life, Aaryn place an emphasis on oral health education because she believe it is the best way to help a patient to achieve their oral health goals.
In her free time, Aaryn can’t get enough of the hikes, bikes, camping and nature of Alaska. She is an avid Zumba goer and has come to really enjoy PiYo with her friends.
